Daon Trusted Identity Services operates the nation’s largest civilian clearinghouse (Transportation Security Clearinghouse) for fingerprint, biometric and biographic processing. Created to provide cost effective and expedient services, this clearinghouse provides biometric background checking for airport employees, Federal Transportation Security Officers and Air Marshals, Alien Flight School participants and general aviation crews. Thomas A. Grissen
CEO
Thomas A. Grissen is Daon's CEO and a member of our board of directors. Tom oversees all strategic and operational aspects of the business worldwide and is based in Daon's Reston, Virginia office. Tom brings 20+ years of technology experience to Daon. His career spans some of the world’s largest information technology companies to early stage “pure play” software companies. In all cases, these were companies of consequence within their industry.

Tom is very active in government advisory groups and serves on the Board of Directors for TechAmerica’s Public Sector. Tom holds a BS in business administration from Central Michigan University and an executive MBA from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.

His hobbies include golfing, skiing and travel.


Carter Morris
COO
Leads the association’s security initiatives which focus exclusively on the security challenges facing the aviation system. Responsible for operations and P&L of $16 million in annual revenue including COO and board member of a joint venture LLC.

Was previously Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, focusing on all aspects of federal regulatory, economic, security and environmental issues facing airports. Worked in the White House Executive Office of the President and in public affairs for the U.S. General Services Administration.
